Chicks dig butterflies. My hair w/ LED google eyes. The hair is made of this Electrolumniscent wire that is computer (PIC 16C76) controlled. The wire is phosphor coated and excited via transformers that convert 12V to 400V at 1800Hz. The stuff is really excellent. For more info go to EarthCircus Chris's Horse. Definitely the most popular thing on the playa. It was sequenced from the same frames as the first motion picture made by Eadweard Muybridge. in 1873. Horse and stilt people from EarthCircus.
Greg's bug outfit. Greg is the guy who did all the excellent work on the microcontroller circuits. The wheels of Greg's bike were synchronized so the segments "moved" at the opposite speed of the wheel. A weird effect. The front wheel contained the processor which relayed the speed via a garage door radio link to the back wheel. The parade on Thursday night. Molly's size 36-LED Slinkini and skirt. The Slinkini is 2 colandars with 4" springs w/ LEDs on the end. Slinkini, the Overwired Bra is a registered trademark of Playa-Tech. Kenny's buttefly that towed him across the playa. Nifty orbiting LED ball.
Squiggly lines. Another Slinkini shot. Arthur, painted yellow as jaundice boy. Kent provided musical accompinent to the parade.
